Solaris? is an outdoor contemporary dance performance drawing parallells between the science fiction novel
Solaris (1961) by Polish author Stanislaw Lem, and how our anthropocentric lens of the world hinders us in understanding and preserving the natural world today.
The audience will go on a walking journey through the woods, and be confronted with their naive search for something familiar within an unknown form of consciousness.

Solaris? had a residency August 2024 in Hammerfest with Davvi - Center for Performing Arts, and will premiere in Tromsø, Norway on the 1st of July 2025.
The project is funded by The Norwegian Arts Council, Tromsø Municipally, and Sparebankstiftelsen Sparebank 1 Nord-Norge.
