Mathilde Caeyers (BE/NO) is a choreographer living and working in Tromsø, Norway.
She graduated in 2018 with a
Bachelor Honours Degree in Dance from
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Since graduating she has created five choreographic works, two of which have been chosen to go on tour with
Dance Network Norway.
Her most recent work is the virtual reality installation “Boundary” which exhibited at the Intercultural Museum in Oslo in 2023.
Currently she is taking up Environmental Philosophy at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, as part of her research for her upcoming project, Solaris?, which will premiere at The Arctic Arts Festival in 2025.
Caeyers has received artist grants from The Norwegian Arts Council, Fond for Utøvende Kunstnere and Troms og Finnmark County Municipally.
In addition, she is a board member in Forum for North Norwegian
Dance Artists and network coordinator in
Davvi - Center for Performing Arts.
